Charlie Puth is a 26-year-old singer from Rumson, New Jersey, who grew up with his two siblings, Mikaela and Stephen. He got his start by putting his songs on YouTube. His first two albums were “The Otto Tunes” and “Some Type of Love.” He started getting more famous from his third album “Nine Track Mind.” His fourth and most recent album is called “Voicenotes.”

“The Otto Tunes” is one of the most chill albums out there. In it, Charlie talks many times about the difficulty of songwriting. One of the songs is literally called “I Suck At Writing Lyrics.” “Da da da da da da da. This is the chorus line. Da da da da da da da. I guess no lyrics here, sounds fine. As long as I have a catchy melody. And some nice chord changes. So you won’t see that I suck at writing lyrics.” It is a very descriptive explanation of how hard it is to write music. Most of his first album is about how hard it is to write songs.

He’s become a great songwriter, and even his first album is very groovy. Charlie has always been a great songwriter and musician in my opinion, and he is a very charming guy. Charlie’s music is a lot more famous and grown up now, and it definitely has better lyrics and melodies.

Hailee Steinfeld is a 21 year old singer and actress from Los Angeles, CA. She made her acting debut as Mattie Ross in “True Grit.” She is in two of my favorite movies in the world, “Last Call Pitches” and “The Edge of Seventeen.” She has been nominated for many awards for her acting, such as Golden Globe ‘Best Actress’ and Academy Award ‘Best Supporting Actress.’ A fun fact about her is that, recently, a rumor has been going around that Niall Horan and her are dating.

Hailee is not only an amazing actress, but she is also a very talented musician. Her two most popular songs are “Starving” and “Most Girls.” “Starving” is a peppy song with a not so great message, but “Most Girls” has a great message about how every girl is beautiful in their own way. She doesn’t have many songs out, but she is definitely very talented.

Charlie Puth’s 2018 “Voicenotes” tour with special guest Hailee Steinfeld kicks off on July 11, 2018. I definitely want to go because I love both Charlie and Hailee. I am inspired by them and hope I get to go to this concert.

Charlie Puth was not very good at writing lyrics in the past and even mentioned it in a song. He is a lot better now and has very successful songs. Hailee Steinfeld is going on a tour with him soon.
