Marteen Estevez is a 16-year-old pop and R&B musician who was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area of California. He started to pursue his music career at age 12 by posting covers on Instagram. He has opened for some very famous artists such as Fifth Harmony, Bryson Tiller, and Kehlani, and is about to open for the very famous artist Dua Lipa on an upcoming tour.

Marteen’s music has a unique vibe to it and will really get listeners moving to the beat. His album “Focused” came out in 2016, and his song “Sriracha” came out in 2017.

A big time producer and songwriter, JR Rotem, produced Marteen’s album “Focused.” JR Rotem has worked with artists such as Destiny’s Child, Jason Derulo, Sean Kingston, and Rihanna. Rotem wrote the song “SOS” for Rihanna, and he wrote the song “Fancy” for Destiny’s Child. Rotem produced the song “Beautiful Girls” for Sean Kingston. Rotem also produced the songs “In My Head,” “Whatcha Say,” and “Ridin’ Solo” for Jason Derulo.

It takes a huge commitment and dedication,” Rotem told billboard.com. “I’m not very impulsive, so I’ve only signed a selected amount of artists and run everything like a little boutique… as opposed to signing 50 people and seeing what works.”

Rotem signed Marteen to Warner Bros. Records.

“One day he came in with the line, ‘Girl you gotta body like Sriracha,’ and I thought it was cool, so I got on an acoustic piano and started playing those chords,” Rotem said.

Marteen got lucky and was ecstatic when Rotem decided to work with him. Marteen is a very talented guy, and hopefully, he will start to become more popular in time. Check out Marteen’s video for “Sriracha” on youtube, and let us know if you’d like your own Marteen Sriracha bottle. (Supplies are limited.)
